Gratitude and a Happy New Year

This year started off bleakly with not much promise and hope but then things started falling in place like in a jigsaw puzzle. This year lifted a heavy burden off my heart and filled it with happiness and delight, made me feel light and good, I am grateful to God for having given me a chance to mend what I broke and I am thankful to the one who was instrumental in getting things smoothened out.
Even after the long awaited cheer that spread into my life in the early 2015, there were things which often brought in negativity and lack of hope in me, but this year somehow my positive thinking helped me a lot and things turned around, it was a cheerful Diwali which awaited me, the lights started sparkling right from the first day of Navratri in October itself.
I am grateful to God for the blessings, each one of them, I am full of gratitude to the almighty and wish and pray for an even better 2016 for me and my family and every one in my life, and the entire nation, the entire world and all of you who are reading this. Be blessed in a way you have never been blessed before.
I pray for opportunities of more gratitude in the brand New year that awaits me just round the corner.
Goodbye 2015, let me tell you, you were a darling to me and my family… I will always remember you.. Hugs and thanks a lot.

    vincy we both were appreciating the beauty of the colors I think. hadn't noticed you said they were geraniums so I just double checked that they indeed are hydrangeas:-) pretty!

Nature - My childhood friend

This is not a work of fiction, but it seems so, even to me who is the one who has experienced it all.  My memory of all that is being written here seems to have happened in some other life time, but all of it happened when I was 4 or 5 years old, but still the pictures are so vivid and so real in my mind like I am watching a techni colour HD movie or as if I am still there when I am writing it all down.  I say it is not fiction because of the tremendous  nature’s bounty and beauty and companionship that I experienced at that time  seems so unreal even to me. In search of the prefect 'Yeast'..... post no. 2

Apart from the blogathon that I have jumped into there is another very important issue (!) which has been circling inside my head for long and hold your breath, it is about getting hold of a good yeast (!!) So that I can venture into bread baking..which I had been longing to do  for so long.   This search for a good yeast has been going on for so long that I have tried at least 4 to 5 types of yeast till now, I brought a pack from kerala store in Delhi,  then when I went to Kerala I brought two packs from a bakery thinking that the kind of stuff they have at their shop, definitely they must be selling  good yeast and was excited about trying it out.. then I brought packs from different bakeries in  Delhi.. to cut a long story short... none.. yes...
