Happy New Year 2020

Here I am, after a long, long time.  Last year I made the resolution to write a lot more this year but I ended up writing almost nothing on my blog.  In fact I am stuck by a very big block in my writing and  I am alarmed at the lack of creativity that I have right now due to which I am unable to complete a piece of work which is so close to my heart. 

Anyways, this year has been kind and I am grateful for it.  My entire existence is based on only one word and that is 'Gratitude'.

I wish every one who reads this post a wonderful and happy New Year... I know its a bit early for the New Year wish but a wish is a wish isn't it? How does it matter whether New year is here in 15 days or 20 days.

Have a blessed and great year ahead, and be healthy and safe all of you and your families.

    How did i miss your posts Rekha?

    Though this wish has come in pretty early, if i had read this would have been probably my first wish, thank you for your wishes and wish you and your family a wonderful New Year. May the gratitude continue and follow through this year too.

    on a side note, that thing about lack of creativity is a big lie you are telling yourself. Look at all your poems, it makes mine look so juvenile, so get of that excuse and blog more. your drama isnt going to work darling.

Nature - My childhood friend

This is not a work of fiction, but it seems so, even to me who is the one who has experienced it all.  My memory of all that is being written here seems to have happened in some other life time, but all of it happened when I was 4 or 5 years old, but still the pictures are so vivid and so real in my mind like I am watching a techni colour HD movie or as if I am still there when I am writing it all down.  I say it is not fiction because of the tremendous  nature’s bounty and beauty and companionship that I experienced at that time  seems so unreal even to me. In search of the prefect 'Yeast'..... post no. 2

Apart from the blogathon that I have jumped into there is another very important issue (!) which has been circling inside my head for long and hold your breath, it is about getting hold of a good yeast (!!) So that I can venture into bread baking..which I had been longing to do  for so long.   This search for a good yeast has been going on for so long that I have tried at least 4 to 5 types of yeast till now, I brought a pack from kerala store in Delhi,  then when I went to Kerala I brought two packs from a bakery thinking that the kind of stuff they have at their shop, definitely they must be selling  good yeast and was excited about trying it out.. then I brought packs from different bakeries in  Delhi.. to cut a long story short... none.. yes...
